Manuscript Evaluation
An editorial letter that addresses plot, readability, world-building, voice, and character development. I will also provide two weeks of follow-up email support to address your questions.
Price: $650 USD for manuscripts up to 100k words, pricing adjusted for longer manuscripts.

Copy Edit
Utilizing Track Changes and comments in the margins, this edit will target grammar, spelling, syntax, clarity, and story/character/worldbuilding clarity and continuity. I will also focus on writing flow and readability. I will provide two weeks of follow-up email support to address your questions.
Price: 0.014 per word (e.g. $1,400 for a 100,000 word manuscript) USD.

This will give you a result similar to a developmental edit without the price tag! I will provide a thorough editorial letter, copy edits using Track Changes, margin notes, and two weeks of follow-up email support to address your questions.

Short Story Developmental Edit
You will receive a story assessment letter that addresses the strengths and weaknesses of the project as a whole, plus copy edits, thorough margin notes, and two weeks of follow-up email support to address your questions.
Price: $100 USD for stories up to 5000 words, $200 for stories 5,000-10,000 words.
Timeline: 2-3 weeks
Sample Chapters Assessment
An assessment of 1-3 chapters, up to 13,000 words. The first three chapters are the most important in terms of making an immediate good impression. I will offer an editorial letter, copy edits, margin comments, and 1-2 follow-up emails to address your questions (within two weeks after the edit assessment is turned in).

Ten-Page Assessment
When you’re cold-querying literary agents, the agency submission guidelines will often request to see the first ten pages along with your query letter. You want to make the best impression you can within those parameters!
